Today i am making lots of jam!
Strawberry, raspberry...now for Rainier cherry and grape!
I found this informative and witty website, called Recession Depression Therapy...and even though i know how to make jam already, it was a great refresher for something i've only done a handful of times.
I usually try to make our jam with honey or agave nectar.
Here are my notes using the recipe in the link above:
2 cups strawberries
1 TBSP lemon zest
2 TBSP lemon juice
3/4 cup agave nectar
and the beauty of this is...
2 tbsps of this jam i make only has 1/2 a point, which you can't count halves in WW, so i can have twice the amount of jam i'd have if i used that flavourless, pricey store bought kind! Woo hoo!
Also, sometimes i've tried a little cinnamon in my strawberry jam. YUMMY!
